Sizzle & Spice® Crazy Cayenne Coreopsis

Bred by Walters Gardens, Inc., of Michigan, this threadleaf coreopsis is part of a line of plants known for a particularly dense, rounded form that helps them to slip into tight spots, like bed edges, pots, patios, and the like with ease. Vigorous and easy-blooming Sizzle & Spice® Crazy Cayenne Threadleaf Coreopsis will flower all summer long, smothering itself in dozens of flowers nearly two inches across with fiery orange tops and soft yellow undersides so long as it receives modest irrigation. This plant is lightly rhizomatous, though non-aggressive, and can make an excellent addition to low-growing, irrigated meadow and cottage gardens as well as perennial borders. Threadleaf coreopsis blooms make good cut flowers.
