Super Arp Rosemary

Rosmarinus officinalis ‘Super Arp’ (Cold Hardy Rosemary) is a sturdy perennial that can be the focal point of a rock garden, and is lovely planted with Lavender, Sage, and Ornamental grasses. Resistant to deer and rabbits, it’s a low-maintenance selection for year-round enjoyment. Discovered by our founder, David Salman, in Santa Fe, NM; he found it as the lone survivor of ‘Arp’ Rosemary after a cold winter with a -18F winter night. The original cuttings were taken from that plant. Native to the Mediterranean, Rosmarinus is traditionally found in coastal, temperate areas. The original ‘Arp Rosemary’ is named for Arp, Texas.
