Sagina subulata (Green Irish Moss) is a lush deep green groundcover with dense evergreen tidy foliage. Lovely white flowers give way to tiny brown oblong seedpods. A full sun to part shade location and evenly moist, well-drained soils will keep this species happy. It is easy to spread by division in early spring or fall. Native to western and central Europe, Irish Moss is found growing among rocks and slopes.
